One of my favorite things is browsing boutiques and catalogues for inspiration. This dress is my own design after admiring the bright prints offered in these shops. The fabric was inexpensive from Walmart, the real treasure is the grin of my little girl who LOVES to wear it. She loves it so much because I made her a matching purse that she takes into her class at church. That little bag proved to be like a security blanket when we put her in a new class, something familiar to cling to. I guess we all need that sometimes.

"Just as the name implies, they are like my sketch book...random designs inspired in the process of creating and "doodled" on with lots of free motion sewing. I am greatly influenced and inspired by "Elizabeth" the designer who I had the privilege to create with in her treetop studio for a season in my life.
